Trellis Rugs

We all know trellis prints have been popping up in Interiors over the last couple of years.  The one that stands out in my head the most is Kelly Wearstler's trellis print, that can be found in wallpaper or fabric and in a variety of color options.  I especially like the trellis rugs.  I feel they give the floor some color and make a good alteration to an oriental rug or just a solid color.  Here are some sample of living spaces that make this look work.

Summer 'drilles

It seems that as the weather gets warmer, everyone gets a little more casual. We definitely do in Savannah. Espadrilles are the classic option for a comfortable spring/summer shoe. The flats are ideal for a booze cruise on the boat, and the wedge espadrilles pair perfectly with white jeans. What's not to love? J Crew and Piperlime both have cute options.

My Morning Staple....

I know it is cliche to have Starbucks as a morning staple, but I seriously
have a bad morning without this white & green cup of joe in my hand. I must admit it has taken me years to actually perfect. But, now that I have it is now stellar! I must share and insist you try the next time you need some caffeine to get your motor running. I start with a grande of the very normal Pike Place blend.




Followed by 1-1/4" steamed organic soy milk.




Which is sweetened by 1 and 1/2 packets of Sugar in the Raw.



And, lastly you must request NO FOAM! You sound picky saying it but it makes a difference. I promise it is worth it!

And where there is drink there must be food! Have you tried the Kind bars? I know you have seen them but have you actually bought one? They come in very,very assorted flavors but my favorite is the blueberry vanilla cashew! Anne Read.....Any comments? She loves them too! They are healthy, all-natural and gluten-free!!!!

Pears + Bears: Kayce Hughes

Since having baby I was introduced into the world of children's trunk shows hosted in people's homes.  Kayce Hughes' Pear + Bears line was one of my favorites, out of all the home I shopped.  The clothing styles, the quality of the fabric, and the color options were all factors that stood out to me.  Not only do they have baby and children's clothinng but they have ladies' clothing and accessories as well.  I had to have the bubble and john john shown below, come on, it is just too darn cute!  Check out their site here.
