Neon Accents
I am loving all the bright neon colors for spring! Wearing a neon accent can really brighten my mood and make my outfit much more fun. Be careful mixing and matching too many neon accents together, as you do not want to look like you just came from a rave. Pairing a great neon accent with nudes and naturals are just perfect and super chic!

Frank Pollaro goes to the Oscars
Who is already thinking about the upcoming Oscar's this Sunday, February 26th? Many of us I know tune in to see the oh-so-fabulous gowns or lack there of. But, this year not only am I scouting out the great fashion, but my eyes will be focused on this year's Greenroom. Oh the Greenroom, where celebrities retreat before taking the stage to present the heavy man himself.... Mr. Academy. This year's celebrity sanctuary will be furnished by the very, very talented Frank Pollaro. Owner and designer of Pollaro Handmade Furniture his custom made pieces utilize and incorporate the worlds most rare and impeccable materials. When I think of Mr. Pollaro's furniture, one word comes to mind EXQUISITE - really no other. I have had the great experience of working with he and his company on a job site a couple of years ago. In person, the pieces are even more stunning than the images- I didn't even think possible. Along with Pollaro's furniture this year at the Oscars, design for the Greenroom will be created by acclaimed Los Angeles designer Waldo Fernandez. How glamorous it will be, as his designs are influenced by the 1930s and 40s hollywood era. Below are four of the eleven pieces from Pollaro's collection which will be used at this year's 84th annual Academy Awards.

Wing Chair Love
Whether you love them or hate them, wing back chairs have been around for a while and are here to stay. That's not to say they haven't evolved over time, because they have. These days, wing chairs are used in many rooms throughout the house and even in offices. The wing chair is timeless, classic and very comfortable. Don't get me wrong, there are some ugly outdated ones out there (I have a pair in hunter green waiting to be recovered now.) Just don't forget, they can always be refreshed with new fabric, paint, or even by adding nail heads.
