At Home with Lela Rose

Recently I watched the HGTV re-run featuring Lela Rose's townhouse.  This fashion designer definitely thinks outside the box when it comes to design, especially in this amazing New York apartment!  The living room has a glass table/ runway that drops down from the ceiling to match up with a table which lifts up from the floor in the "shaker box" room.  Also these tables meet up to the kitchen table to create one long entertaining space.  The rest of the house includes a felt room and doggie elevator shaped like a monopoly piece, puzzle piece stair case, hidden speakeasy, and DJ booth loft.  This house really has it all!  Click here for the  full story by Pilar Viladas.

THIS IS LIVING : The edward wormley sofa is one of rose’s treasured possessions; the red Valentina C chair was designed by Maurizio Galante for Baleri Italia.
