A little over a week ago, I had the pleasure of attending the Savannah party for Derek Blasberg's new book Very Classy...and very classy it was.
The evening most certainly did not disappoint. Hosts included Savannah locals Rebecca Gardner and Mimi Cay along with the always-fashionable Lauren Santo Domingo of Moda Operandi. Mimi's home is incredible, and the company was superb. I'm beginning to think we should dress up and go out a little more often. Here are a few photos I snagged from Harper's Bazaar.
"Maids" greeted us upon arrival.

My girl friends and I joke how despite the fact that Harper's Bazaar took several photos of us, we didn't make the cut. Dana did however, and I think he's pretty proud of it :)
In Very Classy, Derek Blasberg analyzes what makes a modern lady classy vs trashy, and his advice is spot on. Here's a brief summary from the back cover.
"It's the 21st century, and let's face it: Trampisms abound, and classy ladies have become fewer and farther between. That's where Very Classy comes in, the complete guide tailor-made to address the entire spectrum of challenges facing today's young women. Very Classy is a collection of bestselling author Derek Blasberg's witty essays, made to entertain and inform a reader on everything she needs to know about style, etiquette, social interactions, and more!"
Bravo, Mr. Blasberg! If you would like to purchase Very Classy, the book is available on Amazon.
