Animal prints

Fun new animal prints!

I recently purchased this horse print dress from the Banana Republic Outlet. I plan on wearing it now with some pumps and bangles.

But as the weather cools off.....I planning on wearing it like this for a casual look.

red scarf, cross body bag, leather jacket, black tights, and brown over the knee boots

If I want to dress if up, I will sub the boots for suede booties!

Turns into a dress that is great year round. And for all of you UA fans- they had it in an elephant print too!

Dining in Beauty

To me, the dining room is an important space in a home. These days, many Americans don't use it for it's intended purpose. It's either used as a pass through or a catchall. Some newer homes have even eliminated the dining room altogether. Sad! So, here is a little dining room inspiration. Make time to sit down and use yours.

Hope you enjoy!

Love It! Lulu Frost for J.Crew

J.Crew's latest collaboration is with jewelry designer, Lulu Frost. Lulu's family has been in the estate jewelry business for generations; let's just say beautiful creations are in her blood! Her line for J.Crew is absolutely stunning! I really cannot get over how beautiful these art-deco bangles are- I want an armful! Lulu has her own line as well, which makes these pieces from J.Crew a steal.

A few of my favorite bangles (starting at $45):

I WILL have this pendant necklace- perfect for fall, paired with anything color-blocked!

This beauty really reflects her family expertise in estate jewelry...and it's on sale!

And while I'm at it, here are two of my other favorite J.Crew bracelets for fall:

Towel Time

I am one of those people who is a complete fanatic about two things. (probably a little more, but whose counting???) Right now in my brain two items come to mind.
The first one being sheets and the second one being towels. I will say these two share a similar trait....and that being color. Well....or colorless. I am a WHITE TOWELS and WHITE SHEETS only kind-of-girl. Why do you need color with this daily staple? Save the color for your beach towels!!! In my opinion, GO WHITE. I know towels (for the most part) are concealed behind cabinet doors...and sheets are covered by your comforter or duvet. But, what a delight to open up a door and find all nicely folded, matching white towels? Some photos are below in case you disagree and need a little proof. Also, I have a towel recommendation..... if you want a little pricey set check out If you want to be a little frugal, I know this is random but go find a Cynthia Rowley set. (TJ MAXX has them) shhhhhhhhh. As for sheets, only one suggestion.... Anichini all the way.

The September Issues have landed

I am a magazine junky!  I cannot help myself I love love magazines, and by far the September Issues are always my favorite.  The September Issue equals the biggest spread of Fall fashions for the season.  You can expect to see all the upcoming trends and advice on what you need to buy.

On the Vogue September Issue who else but Kate Moss, wearing Alexander McQueen, to grace us on the cover with an inside look at her wedding.  The cast of Glee are featured among these 758 pages of fall trends, in a piece about the upcoming Fashion's Night Out.  I look forward to this issue every year and as always Vogue never lets me down!

Here are some more of my favorite magazines I receive every month!  All bring a little something different to the table and all worth reading!  Here's to fall shopping and Happy September Issue month! Enjoy!
